About Us

Floor­ing is in our blood. Reece & Wade orig­i­nal­ly come from Mil­du­ra, a coun­try town in Vic­to­ria, where they grew up on their family’s farm. They were intro­duced to floor­ing at an ear­ly age by their father David who has been a qual­i­fied floor­ing tech­ni­cian for over 40 years. Fol­low­ing in their father’s foot­steps, Reece and Wade have worked all over Aus­tralia installing floor­ing in well over 50 loca­tions rang­ing from Bro­ken Hill, Ger­ald­ton, Kar­ratha, Tiwi Island­sand every­where in between for some of the world’s largest com­pa­nies includ­ing Rio Tin­to, BHP, Wood­side and Chevron to name a few. This is where they gained a rep­u­ta­tion of being the best at what they do in the floor­ing indus­try. This is how the name Ozwide Floor­ing came to be.

Since mov­ing per­ma­nent­ly to the North­ern Ter­ri­to­ry over 8 years ago Ozwide Floor­ing has estab­lished a local N.T rep­u­ta­tion for being remote com­mer­cial and domes­tic floor­ing spe­cial­ists. We high­ly enjoy ser­vic­ing remote indige­nous com­mu­ni­ties and the spe­cial bonds that are cre­at­ed with­in these com­mu­ni­ties and with the tra­di­tion­al landown­ers of Australia.

Hav­ing been based in Alice Springs for the past 4 years Ozwide Floor­ing has wit­nessed some sub stan­dard work­man­ship regard­ing floor­ing instal­la­tions. Many of these jobs we have been con­tract­ed to go fix or replace to Aus­tralian Stan­dards and cus­tomer expec­ta­tions. It is these kinds of exam­ples, com­bined with encour­age­ment from local builders, Gov­ern­ment agen­cies and the gen­er­al pub­lic that we have opened up a floor­ing store right here in Alice Springs. We are pas­sion­ate about what we do and we pride our­selves on our work­man­ship, done by qual­i­fied installers to the high­est Aus­tralian stan­dards.
